Dear Parent and Student:
For the second semester (S2) of the 2019-2020 school year, West Hartford Public Schools will assign traditional letter grades of A-F. Due to the change to online learning caused by the emergency closure of schools, students are offered the option of taking any of their courses as Pass “P” or Fail “F”. Students can choose to earn:
-
traditional letter grades in all classes,
-
a mix of traditional letter grades in some classes and a P/F in some classes, or
-
earn a P/F in all classes.
All students who earn a D in any course will automatically have the D changed to a P and THERE IS NO NEED TO FILL OUT THIS FORM. However, if your child prefers to receive a "P" or "F" instead of a traditional letter grade of an A, B, or C, please fill out the information below and submit it on or before June 1st.
