The Early Learning Center is a NAEYC accredited preschool program offered by the West Hartford Public Schools. This is a 4 days/week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) 2.5 hours per day preschool program. Students who are accepted into the program through the lottery will be assigned either a morning or afternoon session. The morning session is from 9:00am-11:30am and the afternoon session is from 12:15pm-2.45pm. Tuition cost for students accepted through the lottery is $750 for the school year.Children who are applying for the PreK-3 program must turn three years of age by 10/15/2019. Children who are applying for the PreK-4 program must have turned three years of age by 10/15/2018.Please note typical PreK-3 students are assigned to an AM class and PreK-4 students are assigned to a PM class.
To be considered for the program, children must be toilet trained by the start of the school year and exhibit age-appropriate language, social and play skills. All applicants must participate in play-based screening prior to being considered for the lottery selection process. You will be contacted shortly regarding dates and times for the screening.
